Two thirds of respondents believe that the Church and Chapel should be used for other activities, with 51% believing that concerts would be appropriate. The top unprompted use suggested was classes for adults and children (11 of 33 mentions). 63% of respondents believe that the School should be used for other activities, with the top suggestions being adult education at 32 mentions and children’s clubs and activities at 28 mentions out of a total of 211 unprompted suggestions.
Regarding the current village hall: it is used by 78%
of respondents, with the top additional facility being more parking (35%). The
top unprompted desired improvement was better kitchen facilities (10 mentions
out of 83 suggestions). 47% of respondents thought that the village hall should
be rebuilt (when necessary) at a new site.
