We are developing the basis for forming
a Village Plan that will help Cropredy in the next twenty years in a way in
which its residents want it to develop.
A Fayre was held in September to get initial responses from villagers,
Since then village interest groups and local businesses have been consulted
and in February, following a launch at a public meeting, a questionnaire was
delivered to all households, other residents and children attending Cropredy
C of E School, asking for a response to over 50 questions.
The response to the questionnaire was extremely good achieving a 67% return
rate. The results have been analysed and will be shared with the community at
an open public meeting on Tuesday 6th May 2008 in the Village Hall. After this
meeting the full results will be posted on this website.
The steering group will then develop the plan and try to ascertain from the
wishes of the community what is achievable and affordable.
We need volunteers for this process which may take up to two years to produce
a final plan. If you have any special skills that you feel might aid this then
please contact us.
